Via Hanseatica is the official name of Crete Corridor No 1A, which is included in the Pan-European Transport Network. The Via Hanseatica lies in the direction of Lübeck-Gdansk-Kaliningrad-Riga-Valga-Tartu-Narva-St.Petersburg.
Via Hanseatica: The Crossroads of Baltic nature and culture is today one of the largest tourism development area in the Baltic States. The area consists of counties and regions road passes. They are: Ida-Virumaa, Jõgeva, Tartu and Valga counties in Estonia, Vidzeme, Riga and Zemgale regions in Latvia, Šiauliai and Tauragé counties in Lithuania. The area covers around 43,000 km2, spanning from Narva from the northeast Estonia, to Panemuné, in the Tauragé district of Lithuania.
